This new Black youth culture raises some critical questions: how has Black America changed, what new circumstances and conditions have affected its evolution, and finally, what is the legacy of that culture at the dawn of the millennium? Scott Roberts is a doctoral student in political science at the University of Chicago. He is originally from Emporia, VA and a 2003 graduate of Morehouse College. Scott's academic interests include African-American politics, political mobilization and health policy.
